Timelink
Payroll Interface
TIMELINK links an employee's worked hours maintained by your
automated time clock's software package, to your automated payroll
service.
Timelink takes a summarized worked hours file produced by your time
clock, and using your personal computer, it automatically sets up files
for importing into your payroll service package. It is also designed to
take information from your payroll service employee file and create a
file that can be imported into your time clock system.
Master File Integration.
Allows for "one-time" data entry. Employees are maintained in the
host payroll system and easily transferred to the time clock system
supported through Timelink. This option may not be available for all
systems.
Multiple Company Codes
Allows unlimited company codes (considering disk space availability)
for those companies that have more than one company code in use
with their payroll service.
Multiple Department Transfers
Employees may work in any number of departments at any rate of pay
and Timelink will keep them all individualized. If department transfers
are only important to the time keeping system, and not to the payroll
system, Timelink will consider the transfers to the employee's home
department.
Unlimited Employee Base
Providing that disk space is available, Timelink will support any
number of employees with any number of department transfers.
Ability To Block Pay
As a feature, Timelink can stop payment of a particular pay
designation or not report payment for an entire pay designation class.
Multiple Pay Designation Classes
Employee pay designations may be based on where an employee
works or the jobs they perform.
Support for Duplicating Hours
Pay designations may be duplicated to other pay designation
categories (e.g. over-time hours duplicated to regular hours to get the
total straight time hours worked) and then multiplied by a rate to allow
the reporting of half-time pay or double over-time pay.
